Greek-based Star Bulk Carriers, backed by equity fund Oaktree, delivered a sizeable profit for the last months of 2017 and for the first time in three years.

Star Bulk Carriers, listed in New York and controlled by equity fund Oaktree, has published strong results for the last months of 2017.

This marks the first time in three years that the shipping company turns a profit.
