Negotiations between China and the US at standstill

Despite two days of negotiations, there has been no progress in the trade talks between China and the US.

There is no sign of an accord after two days of negotiations between China and the US, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The lack of progress reduces the chances of a potential agreement between the two countries, say several close sources, adding that both parties basically just reiterated their main points during the talks.
