Four shipping companies carrying oil from Venezuela are hit with sanctions by the US. More than 40 vessels in total are affected by sanctions, writes Reuters.

The US has imposed sanctions on a number of shipping companies transporting oil from Venezuela, writes Reuters.

Liberia-based Jennifer Navigation, Lima Shipping Corp, Large Range Ltd as well as Italy's PB Tankers have been "blacklisted" by the US Treasury Department.
