Digital shipping company looking to break through in Asia

Hanseaticsoft grew its revenue 40 percent in 2017 and now supplies fleet management software to more than 1,300 ships around the world. The plan now is to break through in Asia, CEO Alexander Buchmann tells ShippingWatch.

It all began in Hamburg with software for the German cluster in 2011. And Hanseaticsoft's cloud-based software has since then spread to fleet management at companies in Dubai as well as the US.

In 2017, the company signed a deal with Lloyd's Register, which has given Hanseaticsoft a platform in the classification bureau's offices around the world as well as a de facto sales office in Copenhagen.
