Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, DSME, one of the three largest yards in South Korea and also where Maersk Line's Triple E vessels were built, will soon have new owners. The news emerged this week when the South Korean government presented its anticipated five-year plan for the country's shipbuilding and shipping industry.

When DSME normalizes its operations again, the government will find a new owner for the stake which is currently owned by Korea Development Bank, said Baek Woon-kyu, the minister for trade, industry and energy according to Fairplay.
