Alfa Laval bags order for 80 ballast water systems

The Swedish supplier has won an order to install ballast water management on two entire fleets for a large Danish shipping company and a Japanese one.

Alfa Laval has secured a large order to deliver ballast water management systems.

Japan's Nippon Yusen Kaisha, NYK, and Denmark's Torm have ordered the systems for their fleets, placing orders for altogether 80 systems. These are the latest orders in a year in which Alfa Laval has booked a total of ten major orders for ballast water management systems, says the supplier in a press release.
