Equity funds place bid on Aegean

Two new parties are prepared to buy bunker company Aegean, which filed for bankruptcy protection in the US in November. The bidders are well-known shipping names, and they have offered a three-digit million dollar figure for the restructured Aegean, writes Ship&Bunker.

Two buyers have announced their combined bid to buy bunker company Aegean.

The buyers are the two equity funds Oaktree Capital Management and Hartree Partners, and they have placed a bid on Aegean Marine Petroleum Network, writes Ship&Bunker.

Schedule reliability among container lines drops to historic low
