Scrubbers, LNG and digital ecosystems will dominate Wärtsilä's 2019

Three things will remain central for Finnish Wärtsilä in the coming year. Collaborations on new digital solutions are essential in order to comply with environmental requirements, says Wärtsilä.

In 2019, Wärtsilä will focus on scrubbers, LNG and digital environmental solutions, notes the Finnish manufacturer of, among other things, scrubbers and ballast water management systems in an interview with ShippingWatch, in which the company points out its three most important priorities this year.

The first of the three priorities on Wärtsilä's agenda is new digital green solutions, which Wärtsilä has dubbed "Smart Marine".
