Desmi secures major ballast water system deal with Stolt Tankers

Desmi Ocean Guard will supply ballast water systems to shipping company Stolt Tankers' fleet. More than 60 ships will be fitted with the systems in the years to come.

Supplier Desmi Ocean Guard has just bagged a major order for ballast water management systems.

The company has signed a frame agreement to supply chemical tanker shipping company Stolt Tankers' existing fleet with ballast water management systems before the end of 2023. The agreement covers more than 60 ships, which will have ballast water management systems installed, says Desmi in a press release that does not mention a price.
