The EU Commission has paused its in-depth investigation into the merger between South Korean shipbuilders Hyundai Heavy Industries and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), writes Reuters.

Antitrust authorities in the EU on Wednesday "stopped the clock" while awaiting further information from the yards.
