World Fuel Services sees sharp drop in demand

World Fuel Services notes a big plunge in demand for fuel for ships, planes and trucks, says the supplier in its interim report, which shows significant growth in the marine division.

One of the world's top suppliers, World Fuel Services, now puts into words the coronavirus' impact on the market for fuel for ships, planes and trucks.

In a quarterly update, the US-based oil group writes that it has seen a noticeable dive in fuel demand due to the coronavirus outbreak.
