MAN Energy Solutions cuts 270 jobs in Denmark

MAN Energy Solutions' three departments in Denmark are hit by the cost-saving measures recently announced by its German headquarters. Global impact on the marine business is difficult to predict at the moment.

270 employees of MAN Energy Solutions in Denmark will lose their jobs as a consequence of the comprehensive cost-cutting plan that the group's headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, recently announced.

The reduction will extend to the next three years and will, among other things, take the form of natural staff attrition, but actual layoffs cannot be avoided, MAN informs ShippingWatch.
