World's most talked-about canal sees top line soar in first half of 2021

The Suez Canal, the world's most talked-about waterway, reports an increased revenue for the first half of 2021, a period marked by intense activity in the container and dry bulk market, reports Reuters.

The Suez Canal, which connects the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, exits an eventful first half of 2021 with a surge in revenue.

The vital waterway grew its revenue to USD 3 billion in the first six months of 2021, says Osama Rabie, Chair of the Suez Canal Authority, according to Reuters.
