Sail-maker Anemoi aims for 50 installations per year in 2025

Anemoi Marine Technologies, supplier of rotor sails for merchant vessels, expects to triple its staff in the coming years and to complete 50 vessel installations a year in 2025, CEO tells ShippingWatch.

Anemoi Marine Technologies, manufacturer of rotor sails, is receiving more and more inquiries from shipping companies about the possibility of installing rotor sails on their merchant vessels to reduce fuel dependency.

"We are currently experiencing a significant influx of inquiries from interested customers, which have come organically due to environmental, regulatory and bunker cost drivers," says Kim Diederichsen, CEO of the London-based company, in an interview with ShippingWatch.
