With the next generation set up in management, USTC aims to scale up

With Nina Østergaard Borris in executive management at USTC, which her father, billionaire Torben Østergaard-Nielsen, has helmed since 1978, the focus lies on acquisitions and expanding the money-spinning business. But there are no goals for anything to eclipse the bunker business, tells Østergaard Borris in a rare interview with ShippingWatch.

For a year and a half, Nina Østergaard Borris has been seated at the executive table, making critical decisions to expand the business at USTC, which her father, Torben Østergaard-Nielsen, has helmed for 43 years.

As part of the group's plans to hand over the reins to the next generation, she joined the executive management as COO in January of last year. The group was by no means a new acquaintance for Østergaard Borris
