Maersk Oil Trading hires new head from Monjasa

Mikkel Kannegaard is switching from a position as Managing Director of Monjasa's European business to a top position at Maersk Oil Trading. Kannegaard has previously worked for Maersk and was formerly personal assistant to Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller.

A.P. Moller-Maersk's bunker firm Maersk Oil Trading has found its new top executive at Danish bunker supplier Monjasa in the shape of Mikkel Kannegaard, who will assume the position from September 1.

For the past one and a half years, Kannegaard has headed Monjasa's European business. At Maersk Oil Trading, he will succeed Niels Henrik Lindegaard, who resigned at the end of August after serving with Maersk Oil Trading for 25 years and in the Maersk group for almost 40 years.
