Norwegian trade organizations concerned about Norway's shipyard industry

In an open letter, three Norwegian trade organizations call for the Norwegian government to increase its support for the nation's shipyards, as the sector struggles to compete with foreign shipyards.

The Norwegian shipyard industry is struggling to keep up with international competitors, primarily as a result of inadequate support from the Norwegian government.

This is the gist of the open letter sent by three trade organizations, Maritime Sector under the Federation of Norwegian Industries, Norwegian Shipbuilders and Maritime Forum, to the Norwegian government.
