
Denmark has provided a guarantee of DKK 8bn (USD 1.2bn) for procurement of ships and technology for the Ukrainian fleet.
A long row of maritime suppliers are thereby prepared to bid on orders from the country, which has garnered increased attention on the global stage because Russia has deployed military forces counting 100,000 soldiers near the border.
