Family fund: Viking is not for sale

Capital funds, as well as private investors, are showing a great interest in Viking Life-Saving, but the wealthy family fund, Claus Sørensens Fond, which owns the company does not consider selling it, according to Børsen.

There are several suitors for the Danish supplier of safety equipment and service to the marine, offshore, and fire fighting industries, Viking Life-Saving. But they are all setting themselves up for disappointment, because the company is not for sale, Annette Kristensen tells the Danish business daily, Børsen. She is Chairman of the board and the granddaughter of deceased founder of the Esbjerg-based family fund, Claus Sørensens Fond, which owns Viking Life-Saving.
