Maersk Supply Service orders new ship from Damen

Offshore carrier Maersk Supply Service enters long-term charter contract with DeepOcean for a new specialized vessel.

Maersk Supply Service has entered a seven-year charter contract with DeepOcean in relation to a new specialized ship for transporting and installing high-voltage cables. The ship will be delivered by the Damen Galati shipyard in Romania in early 2016, says the company in a press release.
