Maersk withdraws from Desmi Ocean Guard

A.P. Møller – Maersk and UltraAqua have sold their shares in Desmi Ocean Guard, which is now fully-owned by the Desmi group.

Desmi Ocean Guard, a company developing systems for ballast water management, is now fully-owned by the Desmi group after A.P. Møller – Maersk and UltraAqua have both sold their shares in the company, Desmi writes in a press release.

Chairman of Desmi Ocean Guard’s board and Head of Maersk Maritime Technology Bo Cerup-Simonsen believes the parties have now secured a firm commitment to the long term plans of the company:
