Kvaerner boosts operating profit in Q2

The major Norwegian oil yard Kvaerner is following up its successful first quarter with significant growth in Q2. The result is in line with expectations, the company writes in its report.

Kvaerner has been busy in the second quarter of the year and the Norwegian group presents operating profit (EBITDA) of USD 46.6 million – a significant increase from Q2 2013 when its EBITDA was at USD 26.6 million. Revenue for the quarter fell from USD 527 million to USD 461 million.
