Lawyers behind OW Bunker IPO to clean up after collapse

Back in the spring, law firm Plesner approved the legality of OW Bunker's IPO. Now Plesner is set to clean up after the bankruptcy. No problem, says Plesner's Chairman.

Law firm Plesner can look forward to a cheerful Christmas party.

First, Plesner landed a million-dollar fee for signing an approval stating that everything was in order at OW Bunker when the company went public on March 28. And now the law firm faces a possibly even bigger fee for winding up OW Bunker, as the company filed for bankruptcy on Friday last week.
