Danish Fraud Squad arrests former OW Bunker exec

A former OW Bunker executive has been arrested today, Thursday, due to suspicions of involvement in fraud in Italy, says Attorney General Morten Niels Jakobsen in a statement.

The Danish fraud squad (SØIK - the police department that deals with special financial and international crime) has today, Thursday, arrested a former OW Bunker executive.

The person was arrested due to suspected participation in fraud by the Italian authorities, says the Fraud Squad in a statement, stressing that the police is also investigating whether the arrested individual is tied to the OW Bunker case as a whole.
