Hempel delivers best result in five years

Hempel achieved its best result in five years. Revenue has also gone up and now passed USD 1.4 billion. Especially organic growth in the second half of the year boosted the result.

The more than 100-year-old Danish coating supplier Hempel managed to grow its net result as well as revenue in 2014, as is evident from the company's annual report for last year.

Hempel achieved a net profit of USD 77.8 million, compared to USD 71.2 million in the previous year. Revenue also grew, albeit less than the profit. In 2014 the company's revenue came to USD 1.42 billion compared to USD 1.3 billion in 2013.
