Bunker Holding acquires major US-based competitor

Denmark's Bunker Holding has acquired one of the world's biggest brokers active in bunker. The negotiations have been underway for six months, CEO Keld R. Demant tells ShippingWatch.

After publishing a record result last week, Denmark-based Bunker Holding is now back with more news. The company has acquired LQM Petroleum Services, one of the largest brokers in the global bunker market, says Bunker Holding in a statement.

The negotiations have been underway for six months and the move forms part of Bunker Holding's growth strategy.
