Ballast water boosts Alfa Laval's marine division

The major Swedish supplier Alfa Laval had a record quarter in the second quarter this year. The offshore segment is suffering from low investments levels, while the marine division is contributing positively.

Alfa Laval delivered a spectacular interim report for the second quarter which contributes positively to the half-year result for the marine and offshore supplier.

In the first six months, the order intake at Alfa Laval has increased by 15 percent to USD 2.22 billion. At the same time, the net result grew by 43 percent to about USD 227 million.
