Steel production set to decline this year
The combined global steel consumption is expected to decline in 2015 alongside the slowing Chinese growth. While consumption in Asia is projected to decrease next year, European demand looks set to grow.

Global steel consumption will decline in 2015, notes the World Steel Association in a new report that presents projections for 2015 and 2016, according to a press release.
