Statoil is carrying out its announced job cuts, which in round numbers will shave 150 out of 1000 US jobs. About 70 employees were turned away last week, writes Norwegian daily Stavanger Aftenblad. This is where they were informed whether they would continue with the new organisation or not," says Statoil's communication manager, Knut Rostad, to the newspaper.
