Shell ponders its future in the North Sea

Shell is currently scrutinizing its activities in the North Sea. A "Shellexit" is under consideration, says the company's CEO.

Shell CEO Ben van Beurden tells the BBC that he is currently scrutinizing the company's activities in the North Sea.

Some of the older fields could be divested and others may be decommissioned, he told BBC on Friday.
