Transocean lands contracts for USD 109 million

Following a large-scale round of layoffs, the world's largest rig company, Transocean, can now announce some good news instead as the company has won orders for a total USD 109 million.

Swiss-based Transocean has within the past month extended orders and won new orders to its rigs for USD 109 million in total, according to a fleet update published by the company.
