The 2M alliance between MSC and Maersk Line has established a direct route from the largest port in northern Europe, Port of Gothenburg, to Japan and the container ports in Kobe, Nagoya and Tokohama.
Port of Gothenburg announced the news in a press release and states that the first vessel is already en route from Kobe and will call in APM Terminals' terminal in Gothenburg.
