Dry bulk operators earned millions of dollars during the pandemic

Huge profits have suddenly turned things around for a number of dry cargo operators which hadn’t seen good results in years. The future looks more uncertain, but not necessarily bad.

Six Danish dry bulk operators with a total of 82 employees scored a combined profit of USD 227m during the pandemic where freight prices reached the highest levels since the financial crisis.
