Media: Dry bulk tycoon facing new bankruptcy

Before the end of this month, American dry bulk carrier Genco Shipping - headed by Peter Georgiopoulos - will file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to the New York Post.

This would not be the first time that Peter Georgiopoulos - the man behind American dry bulk carrier Genco Shipping & Trading - files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, something sources tell the New York Post is going to happen before the end of this month. At this time, the carrier will have to make a payment of around USD 50 million.
