OOCL earns close to USD 1 billion in record year

Container carrier OOCL achieved an operating profit of USD 992 million in 2020. The best result ever, writes the container line. Revenue and container volumes also broke records.

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) publishes its 2020 report Friday, which shows solid progress for both earnings and revenue.

In 2020, the company realized a revenue of USD 8,191 million against USD 6,879 million the year before. At the same time, the operating profit took a significant leap upwards to USD 992 million against USD 361 million in 2019.
