
Overall spot prices on container freight from Shanghai to the rest of the world increased this week for the first time after a 17-week continuous decline.
The Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI), which measures spot prices on container freight from the major Chinese city to a range of destinations across the world, increased by 0.4% to 4,162.69 this week, according to data from the Shanghai Shipping Exchange.
