Impairments hurt Rickmers Maritime

The group achieved a result of USD 23.5 million in 2013, a result that was characterized by impairments on ships and goodwill in the fourth quarter. The quarter finished with a USD 8 million deficit, compared to a USD 2.2 million profit in the same period 2012. Total impairments came to USD 20.8 million, and the group's revenue finished at around the same level as 2012, at USD 143.5 million.
