After sailing through the first quarter of 2015 without a major rate decline, the container carrier OOCL experienced the serverity of the rate pressure in the second quarter.
The carrier's average rate fell by 7.4 percent here, compared to the same quarter in the previous year, to USD 958 per twenty-foot container (teu), shows the quarterly update from the parent company Orient Overseas International.
