A major growth in Russia's LNG exports may be imminent.

According to Wood Mackenzie, the poor prospects of more gas pipelines from Russia to Europe means that the steadily growing European demand for gas needs to come through other means – and in this connection, the analyst firm predicts that Russian LNG exports will play a crucial role.
