Chinese-Greek LNG venture could be underway

Greek Dynagas and the two Chinese companies Sinotrans and China Merchants Energy Shipping are allegedly preparing a joint venture aimed at LNG. The three partners will transport Arctic LNG from Russia's Yamal project.

The two Chinese shipping companies Sinotrans and China Merchants Energy Shipping are allegedly preparing a joint venture with Greek Dynagas to transport liquefied natural gas, LNG, from the Arctic.

With the new joint venture, the three partners will order five LNG vessels that will primarily sail from the major Russian Yamal LNG project.
