John Fredriksen surpassed as UK's richest shipowner

The Norwegian-Cypriot shipping magnate has been dethroned by another prominent shipowner on the list of the country’s richest people.

Israeli Idan Ofer, who owns the conglomerate Israel Corp. and controls Eastern Pacific Shipping, is now the UK’s richest shipowner, according to the latest edition of The Sunday Times Rich List.
