Kirk Kapital to find new consultant for tanker fleet

Following J. Lauritzen's exit from product tank, investment company Kirk Kapital needs to find a new consultant for its six product tankers.

After selling the carrier's fleet of product tankers to Hafnia Tankers, J. Lauritzen has cancelled a collaborative agreement with the Lego family's investment company, Kirk Kapital, which owns six MR ships that have been under general management at J. Lauritzen since 2010.

Four of the ships are operated in pools under Hafnia Management, while the other two are on time charter contracts with Maersk Tankers and Scorpio. The technical management of the ships is handled by Thome and Wallem in Asia. All six ships sail under British flags.
