
Viking Life-Saving Equipment has signed what looks like an important contract with Norwegian Statoil. The multiple-year deal means Viking will service and maintain safety equipment on 36 platforms in the North Sea.
The company's so-called Offshore Safety Agreement, which was launched last year and which Viking has already signed several contracts for, has now also been chosen by the major Norwegian oil company.
