Thorco: Multipurpose market about to turn

The current shipping market is no party, but it could be just that in a few years, according to Thor Stadil, Chairman of the Board in Thorco - and his shipping company should take advantage of that, he tells ShippingWatch.

The Stadil family’s shipping company Thorco has grown significantly in 2013 and it is now time for the sizeable fleet to conquer the multipurpose market, a category used to describe anything that is too big to fit in a normal container. The multipurpose market has gloomy outlooks at the moment, but that is about to change, believes the carrier’s Chairman, Thor Stadil.
