Violeta Bulc: Shipping needs investments in people

Shipping is not just about vessels and ports, but just as much about people, says the EU Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc, at European Shipping Week. Read on to learn what her plans are for European shipping.

The human aspects of shipping are at least equally as important as the technical and trade sides of the business. That was the key point of the speech delivered Wednesday evening by Violeta Bulk, EU Commissioner for Transport, during European Shipping Week.
