APM Terminals' acquisition candidates nearing maturity

The price tag, which long has been a hindrance to the acquisition of port terminals, looks to have reached an attractive level. APM Terminals CEO Kim Fejfer tells ShippingWatch that the company has agreements underway with several of the candidates in the investment pipeline.

APM Terminals' acquisition this week of the major Spanish port group, Grup Maritim TCB, looks set to mark only the beginning of a series of acquisitions by the Maersk Group's port terminal company.

In any case, APM Terminals CEO Kim Fejfer tells ShippingWatch that he expects to present new deals within the next 15 months.
