
New York-listed Teekay Tankers ended the year's third quarter with an adjusted net profit of USD 40.3 million against just USD 2.6 million in the same period of 2014.
The significant increase is mainly due to the extremely strong market for crude oil, writes the tanker carrier in its financial report Thursday.
