Maersk lands heavy lift contract with Vestas

The shipping group’s logistics business has signed an agreement with the Danish company Vestas to provide heavy lift of components for the installation of wind turbines.

Maersk has signed a contract to transport powertrains for Vestas wind turbines, which will be the largest ever, the shipping group writes in a press release.
