MAN opens new branches in China

Even though the shipping markets remain weak this year, MAN Diesel & Turbo expects an increasing amount of orders in China. The company opens several branches and a new logistics company.

MAN Diesel & Turbo has officially opened its new PrimeServ centre in Shanghai, in the Yangshan Bonded area.

“Although the shipping market will remain depressed this year, China has become the largest shipbuilding and ship repair market, also there are more shipping companies and investors ordering vessels at low prices, we expect our orders in China will remain growing this year,” says Ralph Klaunig, Head of MAN PrimeServ, Shanghai.
