Oil companies are preparing for worsening weather conditions in the North Sea winter, sending spot rights up for both anchor handling vessels, AHTS', and Offshore Supply Vessels, so-called OSVs, according to analyst firm Clarksons Platou Offshore in its latest update on the global offshore market.
As such, owners on both sides of the North Sea have been given a small breather amidst the deep crisis triggered by the low oil price in the global offshore market.
